Margaret Rice Morrow

ASHEVILLE – Life on earth expired for Margaret Rice Morrow on March 21, 2023. 

She was the daughter of the late W. M. “Bill” Rice and Annie Mae Teague Rice, and the stepdaughter of the late Elzora Taylor Rice.  Also preceding her in death are her husband, James Nathaniel Morrow; daughter, Bobbie Doris Morrow; and brother, Roger Rice.

She is survived by son, James W. Morrow and wife, Michelle; daughter, Kesha Hitch and husband, Eric; three grandchildren, Shannon Morrow and wife, Chrissy, Tiffany Morrow and Eric Douglas Hitch, II and wife, Ashley; four great grandchildren, Kymani, James-Dion, Laila, and LaDawn; brother, Robert Rice and wife, Maryann; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 26, 2023, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home.  Reverend Ed Couser and Reverend Art Dmytriyev will be officiating.  Burial will follow in Bowman Rector Cemetery, Marshall, NC.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
