Marion \ Wyatt

ASHEVILLE—Marion "Dee" Wyatt, age 79, of Asheville, died Sunday, February 3, 2013. Mr. Wyatt was born November 4, 1933, in Buncombe County where he had lived all of his life. He served in the US Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Nancy Allen Wyatt; daughter, Donna; sisters, Gladys and Effie; brothers, Frank, Ed, and Ralph. Surviving are his sister, Marie Laster; brother, Grover Wyatt and wife Peggy; two granddaughters and five great grandchildren. His graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 7, 2013, in Allen Family Cemetery, Barnardsville, with Rev. Howard Self officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville. Flowers are acceptable and appreciated.
