Mary Louise Fair Plemmons

ASHEVILLE – Mary Louise Fair Plemmons, age 85, of Asheville, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018. Mary was born June 27, 1933 in Buncombe County to the late Irene Burnette Fair; she was a resident of Buncombe County for most of her life. She was a caring wife to the late Blaine Landon Plemmons who passed away in 2015, loving mother and a homemaker. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the highlight of her life. Mary is survived by her four children, Diane Horrell of Asheville, NC; Sharon Bright of Lyman, SC; Pam Collins of Weaverville, NC; and Brian Plemmons of Hendersonville, NC. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren, Heather Horrell, Jeremy Bright, Josh Horrell, Candice Horrell, D.J. Bright, Ty Bright, Christy Collins and Ashley Horrell as well as eight great grandchildren. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 13, 2018 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville. Rev. Zachary Plemmons will officiate. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the funeral home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mary’s life.
