MARY ANN FOX COLE WEAVERVILLE - Mary Ann Fox Cole, age 70 of N. Buncombe School Road died Sunday, March 22, 2015 at the Brian Center, after an extended illness. Mrs. Cole was born October 18, 1944 in Buncombe County and was a member of New Bridge Baptist Church. Mary is preceded in death by her parents; James Pender Fox and Unave Sherlin Fox; husband, Jimmy David Cole who died in 1987 and sister, Carolyn Fox Ray. Surviving are her daughter, Heidi Cole; son, Darryl Cole; sister, Stella Evans and husband Jerry; mother-in-law, Isabel Cole; brothers-in law, Howard Cole and wife Brenda, and Doug Ray; along with several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 26, 2015, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Reverend John Burrell officiating. Burial will be in Clark's Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Flowers are acceptable and appreciated.
