Mary Freida Webb

LEICESTER – Mary Freida Webb, age 79, of Leicester, died Friday, January 25, 2019.

Mrs. Webb was born May 22, 1939 in Buncombe County.  Mary loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren; including her nieces and nephews whom were special to her.  She had a huge heart that encircled her entire family and friends. A giving person, she shared everything she had.  Mary worked as a private nurse for many years in WNC.  She was of the Baptist Denomination.   Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Homer Macon and Rebecca Glendale Swann Moss; husband, Dewy Harley Webb who died in 1999; sisters, Maxine Ruth Blackwell, Dorothy Iva Nell Best, Doris Marie Campbell; brothers, Elmer Eugene Moss and Benjamin Jeb “BJ” Moss.

Surviving are her children, Belinda Kay Randall and husband Michael of NC, Michael Kenneth Wacaster and wife Connie of FL, Audrey Glennella Foster and husband Connan of WI, Alesia Diane Fearnley and husband William of NC, and Darren Keith Wacaster and wife Hope, of FL; sister, Geneva Myrtle Moore and husband Bill of NC; brother, Ralph Lane Moss and wife Anne of NC; grandchildren, Chris Randall and wife Patti, Dennis Randall and wife Andrea, Eric Randall, Todd Wacaster and wife Elodie, Brandie Harp and husband Scott, Aaron Bandeko, Stephanie Thomas and husband Matt, Joshua Bandeko and wife Amanda, William Fearnley, Jr. and wife Nicole, Jodi Oaks and husband Jake, Levi Lands and wife Bethany, Joshua Fearnley, and Matthew Wacaster; sixteen great-grandchildren;  former son-in-law, Les Bandeko and her best friend Alta Lowe.

Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 31, 2019 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville. Bishop Paul Hedgecock will officiate. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, Asheville.

The family will receive friends 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the funeral home.
