MATTHEW COOK WEAVERVILLE – Matthew Cook, age 27, of Weaverville died Friday, February 3, 2017 from an accidental drug overdose. Matthew was born February 10, 1989 in Buncombe County where he had lived all of his life. He enjoyed rock hounding and loved his boxer, Mack. Surviving are his parents, Larry and Kathy Clinton Cook; brother, Daniel Cook and wife Sonya; paternal grandmother, Beatrice Cole Cook; and nieces, Abigail and Leighton.
