MATTHEW ADAM DILLINGHAM BARNARDSVILLE – Matthew Adam Dillingham, age 32, of Barnardsville died February 6, 2017 surrounded by family and friends. Adam was born August 11, 1984 in Buncombe County, where he lived all of his life. He was a 2003 graduate of North Buncombe High School. He worked as a letter carrier for the Postal Service, where he was loved by all. Adam was a loving son, brother, father and friend who always had a smile on his face. He was preceded in death by his father, Troy Neal Dillingham; and his grandmothers, Fay Erwin and Garnett Dillingham. Surviving are his mother, Sandra Taylor Dillingham; brothers, Mark and Josh Dillingham; daughter, Tallulah Dillingham; son, Ryker Dillingham; former wife, Candice Dillingham; and Nelea Prodan; along with several nieces, nephews; and many other family members. His memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 13, 2017, in Antioch Baptist Church, Weaverville, of which he was a member. Reverends Steve Conard and Gary Odom will officiate. The family will receive friends 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville.
