Maurice Maynor

BARNARDSVILLE –Maurice Maynor, age 69, of Martins Creek Rd., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 7, 2013, after an extended illness. Mr. Maynor was born May 27, 1943, in Buncombe County. He was the son of the late Joe and Nora Maynor. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Mae McKinney Maynor; daughters, Kathy Phillips and husband Wayne, and Kristie Hudgins and husband Dewayne; sons, Keith Maynor and wife Rosa, and Kelvin Maynor; sister, Velda Lee Cutshall; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. His graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 11, 2013, in Greenwood Cemetery, with Rev. Nelson Ponder and Rev. Roy Shepherd officiating.
