Myra Clarke Frumkin

MYRA CLARKE FRUMKIN MARS HILL – Myra “Mike” Clarke Frumkin, age 94 of Madison Manor, Mars Hill passed way Saturday, December 12, 2015 in the presence of her daughter and granddaughters. Mrs. Frumkin was born August 14, 1921 in Burke County to the late Granville and Lula Ward Clarke. Mike was a World War II veteran serving in the US Air Force. She will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery beside her husband, Stanley Frumkin who died in 1997. Surviving are her daughter, Liz Sullivan and husband Pete; sisters, Ann Turner, Bette Smith; granddaughters, Amy and Lisa Sullivan; great grandchildren, Maya and Micah, who lovingly knew her as “G.G.”. A graveside memorial service will be held in the spring under the direction of West Funeral Home.
