Nikko Abranches

Asheville—Nikko Abranches, age 31, died Saturday June 30, 2012. Nikko was born February 2, 1981, in India to Adolph S. Abranches and the late Angela Moses Abranches who died in 1993, and was a resident of Buncombe County for the past 15 years. He attended North Buncombe High School and was employed at Travinia Italian Kitchen in the Biltmore Town Square. Nikko is survived by his parents, Adolph S. and Donna Patton Abranches; brothers, Brandon and Devin; grandmother, Betty Patton; several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. His memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m., Thursday, July 12, 2012, at Woodland Hills Church, with Rev. Pat Hand officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Woodland Hills Church, Mission Fund, 50 Woodland Hills Rd., Asheville, NC 28804. West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville is in charge of arrangements.
