Nora Martin Gaddy

BARNARDSVILLE—Nora Martin Gaddy, 77, of North Fork Rd., died Wednesday, March 23, 2011. Mrs. Gaddy was born October 2, 1933, in Madison County and was a resident of Buncombe County for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley M. and Lena Worley Martin; and husband, David Crawford Gaddy who died in 1992. Surviving are her son, Ray J. Gaddy and wife Alicia of Kingsport, TN; sisters, Nina Sprinkles of Weaverville and Myrtle Sellers of Oakley; brothers, Noah Martin of Marshall and Dewey Martin of Barnardsville; and granddaughter, Erica Jones of Kingsport. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 26, 2011, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Rev. Dean Metcalf officiating.
