She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hazel LeMaster Lloyd. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Stephen; sister, Anna Butcher; and brothers, Joseph Lloyd and Wallace Lloyd. Norma was proud to be a published poet and a member of Author's Ink in Wheatland, Wyoming. Her family will forever cherish the personalized cards she created for every kind of special occasion.
She helped with the Head Start Program at the Methodist Church in Portland, Indiana and she loved volunteering at the Tonto National Monument in Roosevelt, Arizona.
She is survived by her son, Doug Stephen and wife, Pat; daughter, Robin Herber and husband, Kevin; sister, Margaret Anderson; grandchildren, Michelle Mills and Jessica Klingel; great-grandchildren, Shelby Witte and Kaytlynn Mills; and great-great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Brettley, Masenn, Kiarrah and Delilah Witte.
According to Norma's wishes, in lieu of flowers, if anyone should choose to make a donation, reach out and help someone less fortunate. There are many worthwhile causes: the homeless, the hungry or abused people. Education and animal welfare are also some of the things she cared about greatly.
Condolences may be offered to the family under Mrs. Stephen’s obituary at www.WestFamilyFuneralServices.com.
