Ora Lee Edwards

ORA LEE EDWARDS ALEXANDER - Ora Lee Edwards, age 85, of Alexander, died Friday, October 10, 2014 at the Brian Center in Weaverville. Mrs. Edwards was born June 6, 1929 in Buncombe County where she had lived all of her life and was employed at Highland Hospital as a nursing assistant for 20 years. She was a daughter of the late Arlon and Edna Mae Brooms Camby and wife of the late Charles T. Edwards who died in 1998. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Albert Camby. Surviving are her sons, Larry Edwards and wife Shirley of Redding, CA, and Mike Edwards and wife Vicki of Alexander; sisters, Faye Reece of Weaverville, and Hazel Hooker of Woodfin; grandchildren, Tammy and Paul; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
