PATRICIA ANN CHAMBERS WOODRUFF WEAVERVILLE - Patricia Ann Chambers Woodruff, age 65, of 230 Stockton Branch Road went to be with Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 27, 2015. Patricia was born April 10, 1950 in Buncombe County. She was a faithful servant to her family and Piney Mountain Baptist Church of which she was a lifelong member. Patricia was a beloved wife, mother and friend. She devoted her life to her family and church. Patricia was a daughter of the late Hoyt Willard and Willie Lea Dillingham Chambers. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Rodney Chambers; aunt, Lucile Dixon; niece, Terra Tesner; and nephew, Tim Bridgers. Surviving are her husband, George Woodruff, Jr.; son, Chris Barnwell and wife Julie; daughters, Heather Miller and husband Chris and Megan Scott and husband Shawn; son, Joshauh Chambers; nine grandkids; sister, Cathy Bridgers and husband Curtis; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 1, 2015, in Piney Mountain Baptist Church, 150 Elkins Branch Road, Weaverville, with Reverends Sibbald Lambert, Jerry Shelton, and Steve Freeman officiating. Private burial will be in Piney Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 30, 2015 at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville. At other times, the family will be at the residence.
