PATRICIA ANN REXROAT WEAVERVILLE – Patricia Ann Edwards Wimberly Rexroat, age 77, of Weaverville died Sunday, June 26, 2016 at The Brian Center. Ms. Rexroat was born June 19, 1939 in Buncombe County, and was a graduate of North Buncombe High School. She previously lived in Chesapeake and Virginia Beach, VA before returning to Buncombe County in 1992. She was a meat cutter for over fifty years, she was a lover of flowers and the beach and she never met a stranger. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Beatrice McCurry Edwards; and daughter, Tina Wimberly. Surviving are her daughter, Tammy Spruill; brothers, Gary, Roger, and Rodney Edwards; granddaughters, Jennifer Beauchene, Jessica Spruill; aunts, Dorothy Edwards, Edna Ponder, Margie Styles. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 30, 2016, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Reverend Mack White officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
