Patricia A. Sprouse

FAIRVIEW—Patricia A. Sprouse, age 69, of 112 Church Rd., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 24, 2013. Mrs. Sprouse was born June 22, 1943, in Buncombe County where she had lived all of her life. Her life was her children, grandchildren and church. She was a loving member of Cedar Mountain Missionary Baptist Church. Patricia was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Tom Sprouse; children, Clifford Thomas Sprouse and wife Nada, Colleen Sprouse Ownsbey and husband Randall, Donna Sprouse Beasley and husband Thomas, and Charles Frank Sprouse and wife Cyndi; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and two brothers. Her funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, January 28, 2013, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Rev. Jimmy Page officiating. Burial will be in Vance Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the residence.
