Paul G. Lunsford

WEAVERVILLE—Paul G. Lunsford, age 78, of Reems Creek Rd., died Sunday, July 28, 2013. Paul was born February 3, 1935, in Buncombe County where he had lived all of his life. He was a piano tuner for many years, first at Cagle Music Company and later was self-employed. He owned and operated Asheville Auto Auction for over 25 years. He enjoyed walking horses and coon hunting and was a member of Brown's Chapel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Bessie Hodge Lunsford. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Judy Bradley Lunsford; and numerous nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 30, 2013, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Rev. Philip Wilson officiating. Burial will be in West Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Flowers are welcome and appreciated.
