Paul Dean Masters

ASHEVILLE – Paul Dean Masters, age 57, of Asheville passed away, Monday, October 21, 2024, at the Laurels of Greentree Ridge where he had lived for 30 years.

Paul was born January 6, 1967, in Buncombe County where he had lived all of his life. He loved to read, spend time with his family, and listen to rock ‘n roll. He always enjoyed airplanes, particularly jet planes. His favorite trip was to go to the beach. Just like all the Masters’ family men, he loved fishing.

Paul was the son of the late William Howell and Peggy Thomas Masters and was also preceded in death by his brother, William Howell Masters, Jr.; niece, Heather Masters Lawson; and nephew, Nathaniel Isaacs.

Surviving are his sisters, Mary Lorraine Isaacs and husband Ricky, and Doris Masters; sister-in-law, Helen Teague Masters; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank everyone at The Laurels of Greentree Ridge for his excellent care. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Laurels of Greentree Ridge to the Activities Department.
