Pauline Wallen Ball

WEAVERVILLE - Pauline Wallen Ball, age 94, died Sunday, February 15, 2009. Mrs. Ball was born January 23, 1915 in Buncombe County where she lived all of her life. Pauline was a member of Morgan Hill Baptist Church. She is a daughter of the late George Harry and Mary Scarborough Wallen and the wife of the late Gladson Edward Ball who died in 1978. Surviving are her daughters, Joyce Schmarr and husband John of Cincinnati, OH, Kaye Munoz of League City, TX; sons, Dave Ball and wife Judy, Dale Ball and wife Diana both of Weaverville, Carroll Ball and wife Darlene of League City, TX; brother, Kindred Wallen of Weaverville;grandchildren, Karen, Lisa, Lori, John, Melissa, Teresa, Kurt, Andrea, Stacie, Eric, Jessica, and Jamie, and ten great grandchildren. Services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Wednesday, February 18, 2009 in Morgan Hill Baptist Church, Weaverville with the Rev. Kevin Garner officiating. Burial will be in the West Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville.
