Pauline Breitenstein

PAULINE “POLLY” BREITENSTEIN WEAVERVILLE – Pauline “Polly” Breitenstein, of Weaverville, passed away Friday February 24, 2017. She was 91. She was born September 17, 1925 in Hartville, Ohio where she lived until her marriage to Arthur Lewis Breitenstein II of Akron, Ohio. After Mr. Breitenstein’s death, she moved to Weaverville in 2003. She loved fashion, gardening and reading, particularly mysteries and novels of the old west. She was preceded in death by her parents, Simon and Ada (Miller) Slabaugh of Hartville, OH; sister, Betty; brothers, Ferman, Bill, Simon Jr. “June” and Bob. She is survived by her daughter, Lynda Sondles and son-in-law Mark, both of Weaverville; sister, Dorothy Lawhun of Sugar Creek, Ohio; along with many nieces and nephews. She will be buried with Mr. Breitenstein at Rose Hill Cemetery in Akron, Ohio.
