Pauline Sprouse Laws

CANDLER– Pauline Sprouse Laws, age 79, of Candler died Friday, July 13, 2018. Pauline was born July 22, 1938 in Buncombe County to the late Frank and Lura Sherlin Sprouse; she was a resident of Buncombe County all of her life. She loved her cats, gardening and flowers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edd Berlin Laws who died in 2009; son, Eddie Laws; and five brothers and two sisters. Surviving are her daughter, Cathey Laws Huffman; sister, Wanda Evans and husband Bud; brothers, C.J. Sprouse and wife Brenda and Tom Sprouse; grandchildren, Jeremy Huffman and Chris Priddy; numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved cats. Her memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday July 21, 2018 in Cedar Mountain Missionary Baptist Church, 27 Reeds Creek Road, Fairview, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to, Asheville Humane Society, 16 Forever Friend Lane, Asheville, NC 28806. West Funeral Home is assisting the family.
