RANDAL KIRK MANEY WOODFIN/CHAPEL HILL - Randal Kirk Maney, age 54 of Chapel Hill, formerly of Woodfin died Saturday, December 14, 2013. Randy was born August 14, 1959 in Buncombe County and was a resident of Chapel Hill for 25 years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved the North Carolina Tarheels. He also loved to cook and take care of other people. Randy was the son of the late John Brigman Maney and Geneva Ammons Maney. Surviving are his sister, Jennifer Garrison and husband Philip of Mars Hill; brother, Lewis F. Maney and wife Corazon of Santo Tomas, Philippines; nephews, John Thomas, Chandler and Matthew Garrison; cousin, Chris Maney and wife Jane and their daughter Carrie. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2013 in the Brigmon-McPeters Cemetery with the Rev. Stanley Peek officiating.
