RAYMA M. DIAMOND WEAVERVILLE - Rayma M. Diamond, age 81 of Weaverville and formerly of Jupiter, FL died Wednesday, November 04, 2015. Mrs. Diamond was born March 4, 1934 in Bridgewater, NY to the late Walter F. and Rene Flint Carey. She was a compassionate nurse and caregiver and loved helping others. Preceding her in death are her husband Robert Diamond who died in 2009; and son, Gregory McDonald. Surviving are her daughter, Colleen Griffiths and husband Ray; step-daughter, Barbara Diamond; son, Jeff McDonald; step-son, Michael Diamond and wife Lynn; sister, Joyce Chapin; brothers, David Carey and Ray Carey; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 9, 2015, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Chaplain Cindy Coleman officiating.
