LA QUINTA, CALIF.—Ray C. Kent of La Quinta, Calif., passed away September 8, 2012, at home at age 70.
Ray was a very gentle, kind man with a smile for everyone. He was a U. S. Army veteran and loved playing golf and traveling. He was preceded in death by his father, A.B. Kent and mother, Movaline Robinson Kent; brothers, Robert Kent and Charles Kent; and sister, Judy E. Chambers.
Ray is survived by his wife of 44 years, Peggy Coulson Kent; son, Richard Kent; brother, Don Kent of Weaverville; sister, Libby Sidell of Maryland; stepson, Billy Walker of New Jersey; and two granddaughters.
Ray's final resting place will be in North Carolina, scattered over the Smoky Mountains. His smile and sparkling blue eyes will be remembered forever. Ray left this earth peacefully in the arms of the Holy Spirit covered by Angel Wings. Please keep Ray's spirit and soul in your memory and say a special prayer for him as he makes his transition to a new life. If you are a golfer, hit a ball for Ray.
