RICHARD MICHAEL ALLEN ASHEVILLE – Richard Michael Allen, age 72, of Asheville died Thursday, April 28, 2016. Mr. Allen was born November 17, 1943, in Blossburg, PA to the late Fred Ray and Nina Lucille Caulkins Allen. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Masonic Broadway Circle Masonic Lodge #546, Oklahoma City, OK. Surviving are his wife of 16 years, Cristina Bartolaba Allen, and his beloved dog Toby. His funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 29, 2016, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Reverend Marjory Kiess officiating. Burial will be in Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to his service, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to West Funeral Home, P.O.
