Rick L. Jamerson

Rick L. Jamerson, age 59, of 23 Greenridge Rd., went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 25, 2013. Rick was born November 28, 1953, in Buncombe County where he had lived most of his life. For many years Rick was an electrician and was also very knowledgeable of knives and enjoyed collecting them. He loved the Lord, his family and the mountains. Rick enjoyed hunting, fishing and camp fires. He was the son of Alene McKinney Jamerson and the late Kermit J. Jamerson. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife of 40 years, Loretta Robinson Jamerson; daughters, Melissa, Emily, and Alisha "Earl" Jamerson; brothers, Rev. Jerry Jamerson and wife Nancy, and Mike Jamerson and wife Valere; special nieces and nephews, Heather, Clint, Matt, Rob, Dillion, and Brittany. In his honor there will be a private family graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 28, 2013 at West Funeral Home.
