Rodney Riddle

BARNARDSVILLE – Rodney “Bud” Riddle, age 75, of Barnardsville died Sunday, April 9, 2017. Mr. Riddle was born April 15, 1941 in Buncombe County to the late Donald J. and Loretta Sara Carson Riddle. Mr. Riddle lived in Buncombe County all of his life and was a retired farmer. He was a former custodian of Antioch Baptist Church, of which he was a dedicated and faithful member. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his sister, Jean Riddle Robinson. Surviving are his brothers, Richard G. Riddle of Weaverville and Neil Riddle and wife Judy of Mooresville and several nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 in Antioch Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Odom and Rev. Steve Conard officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all staff at the Brian Center.
