RON DAYTON ALEXANDER – Ron Dayton, age 59, of Alexander died Friday, May 26, 2017. Mr. Dayton was born September 2, 1957 in Buncombe County. He was the owner and operator of Dayton Builder’s and a former youth basketball coach. He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn O. Dayton; and brother, Larry Dale Dayton. A loving father and grandfather, he is survived by his mother, Beatrice Raines Dayton: children, Michele Dayton (Gerald Riley), Nichole “Nikki” Dayton (Scott Nesbitt), Jacqueline “Jackie” Dayton and Craig Dayton (Jennifer Dayton); and nine grandchildren, Tyler, Alyssa, Zeb, JaNya, Anna, Serenity, Ciara, Judah and Kalyn. His memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Access Church, 24 Sardis Road, Asheville, NC 28806 with Reverend Lee Harmon officiating.
