ROSE BOGER HARPER
WEAVERVILLE – Rose Boger Harper, age 55, of Weaverville died Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the John F. Keever Solace Center.
Rose was born July 25, 1960 in Dade County, FL and was a resident of Buncombe County for most of her life. She loved working with kids and on military bases. She also loved to volunteer and was a crafter working in her own home. She was a daughter of the late Willie Teer Boger and Mary Miller Ray and wife of the late Carl Michael Harper who died in 2004.
Surviving are her son, Rocky D. Evans; sister, Cheryl Boger; grandchildren, Wyatt and Dakota Evans; and her companion and caregiver, Marvin Roger Evans.
Her service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, March 31, 2016, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Reverend Larry Rogers officiating.
The family will receive friends following her service.
