Ruth Shaver Rhyne

RUTH SHAVER RHYNE WEAVERVILLE - Ruth Shaver Rhyne, age 92, of 25 Songbird Lane, died Wednesday, May 21, 2014. Mrs. Rhyne was born July 29, 1921 in Statesville where she lived most of her life. Ruth was the wife of 60 years to the late Clyde Pressly Rhyne who died in 2007. She was also preceded in death by her son, Stephen Pressly Rhyne. Surviving are her daughter, Selena Kittrell of Weaverville; granddaughter, Abby Kittrell of Asheville; grandson, Brooks Kittrell and wife Natasha; great grandsons, Walker and Ian, all of Sylva; and several nieces and nephews. Her memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 24, 2014, in Trinity Presbyterian Church (PCA), 17 Shawnee Trail, Asheville, with Rev. Duane Davis officiating.
