SADIE CUMI MARLER REVIS WEAVERVILLE – Sadie Cumi Marler Revis, age 91, of Weaverville went to be with the Lord Friday, July 1, 2016. Mrs. Revis was born September 19, 1924, in Buncombe County where she had lived all of her life. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Bonnie Sprouse Marler and wife of the late Robert Leroy Revis who passed away in 1997. She was also preceded in death by her son, Sammy J.D. Revis; and grandson, Samuel Eli Revis. Surviving are her daughters, Minnie Griffin and husband George, Jane Ramsey and husband Buddy, Robbie White and husband Ronnie, Valerie Silver Miller and husband Bill; sons, Michael Revis, and Jimmy Ward and wife Lucille; twelve grandchildren, Chris Griffin and wife Angie, Becky Plemmons and husband Dean, Cindy Dailey, Morris Ramsey and wife Diana, Jason Ramsey and wife Lori, Tim Revis and wife Cristi, Ronnie White and wife Shannon, Kyle Silver and wife Shannon, Becky Wilson and husband Aaron, Mandy Ward, Kelly Revis, and Nick Revis; great grandchildren, Stacy Griffin, Summer Collins and husband Randy, Shane Plemmons, Logan and Ian Dailey, Gabriel Ramsey, Dillon and Kaylie Revis, Robert, Aaron and Sydney White, Wyatt and Layton Silver, Brent, Brooklyn, Allyssa and Addison Wilson, Tyler, Luke, Zach, and Grayson Ramsey, Nathan, Carrie and Lindsey Revis and Kylee Ward; and great great grandchildren, Austin Plemmons, Emma Ramsey, Brylan Revis. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 5, 2016, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Reverend Allen Rash officiating. Burial will be in Refuge Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to her service at the funeral home. Flowers are welcome.
