SANDRA “SANDI” LEE KOVALIK WEAVERVILLE – Sandra “Sandi” Lee Kovalik, age 66 of Weaverville died Sunday, January 24, 2016. Mrs. Kovalik was born November 22, 1949 in Trenton, NJ to the late Robert and Lois Rhodes Chamberlain. She was a resident of Buncombe County for most of her life. Sandi was a cashier with Sav-Mor Grocery and a former CNA. Surviving are her husband of 38 years Michael Kovalik; children, Candace Novak, Dawn Maille, David Ryan, Joseph Kovalik, Josette “Zetta” Plemmons; sixteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 29, 2016 at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville. A private family service will be held at a later date.
