Sarah "Channa" Franklin Register

VERNON, FL / FORMERLY OF WEAVERVILLE –

Sarah “Channa” Franklin Register, age 36, of Vernon FL, formerly of Weaverville, died Monday, October 21, 2019.

Sarah was born September 12, 1983 in Buncombe County.  She attended North Buncombe High School.  Sarah was a loving daughter, wife and devoted mother to her children. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Gary Lee Franklin; maternal step grandfather, Roy Prater.

Surviving are her loving husband, Brad Register; daughter, Maricella “Sissy” Valdez; sons, Nigel Lopez, Alex Valdez and Leland Valdez; step daughters, Kelsey Register and Destiney French; mother, Teresa Franklin of Mars Hill; her only sibling, a brother, Bryan Franklin; and  maternal grandmother, Sarah Prater, of whom she was named in honor of.

Services will be held at a later date.
