Savannah Louise Grace Buckner

LEICESTER – Savannah Louise Grace “Ace” Buckner, age 17, of Leicester, died Friday, March 12, 2021.

Savannah was born November 17, 2003 in Buncombe County. She attended school at Martin C. Nesbitt, Jr. Discovery Academy where she was an Honor student.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Linda Buckner.

Surviving, are her father, Dale Buckner and wife Christy; mother, Kim Conner and husband Richard; sisters, Hannah Buchanan and husband Mark, and Brianna Dotson and husband Austin; maternal grandparents, Carl and Ruth Nelon, and Barbara and Danny English; paternal grandfather, Roger Dale Buckner;  niece, Ivy; and nephew, Brayden.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2021 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville. Reverend John Burrell will officiate. Burial will follow in Clark’s Chapel Cemetery, Weaverville.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Per the NC governor, there is a limit of 25 people inside the building during visitation.

Per the NC Governor, masks are required.

Those who choose, may listen to the service on their car radio by tuning into FM 87.7, while in the parking lot of the funeral home.
