STEVE DOUGLAS HUNNICUTT MARS HILL – Steve Douglas Hunnicutt, age 68, of 665 Gabriels Creek Road died Monday, September 26, 2016. Steve was born February 4, 1948 in Madison County. He is a son of Irene Harris Hunnicutt of Barnardsville and the late Edward F. Hunnicutt. In addition to his father he was preceded him in death by son, Tony Randall Hunnicutt; and daughter, Wendy Hunnicutt Stewart. Surviving in addition to his mother are his daughter, Darla Hunnicutt Tesner of Inman, SC, Autumn Hunnicutt White of Canton; sons, Justin Hunnicutt of Asheville, Douglas Hunnicutt, Jr. of Inman, SC; sister, Marjorie Hunnicutt Fowler of Parrottsville, TN, brother, Jesse Hunnicutt of Barnardsville; fiancée, Brenda Griffin of the home. The family will host a service at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, October 9, 2016 in Harris Family Cemetery, Barnardsville.
