Tammy Maloy Luther

ASHEVILLE—Tammy Maloy Luther, age 40, of 50 Barn Owl Rd., went to be with the Lord Monday, August 22, 2011. Tammy was born April 21, 1971, in Buncombe County where she had lived all of her life. She loved horses, dogs, cats, and pets of all kinds. Tammy was an in-home healthcare provider for years. She loved all people. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Glen and Alice Rice, and paternal grandparents, Johnny and Ruby Maloy. Surviving are her sons, Dalton Luther and Logan Cantarero; father, James Wesley Maloy, Sr.; mother, Barbara Rice Maloy; brother, Wes Maloy and wife Lynn; nieces, Ashley, Brooke and Sarah Maloy. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 25, 2011, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Revs. Everette Haney and Keith Hutchinson officiating. Burial will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral service.
