Tim Hightower

ASHEVILLE—Tim Hightower, age 44, of Wilson Watts Dr., went home to be with the Lord Sunday, January 6, 2013. Tim was born November 4, 1968, in Buncombe County. He loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. Surviving are his daughter, Brittany Hightower; father, Terry Hightower and his wife Jacquetta; mother, Patricia Robinson-Watts and her husband Jerry; sister, Stephanie Ward and her husband Travis; stepbrother, Daniel Watts, and stepsisters, Erica Morgan and Shelley West; maternal grandmother, Elezene Robinson; nieces, Jennifer and Abigail; nephews, Cody and Adam; and great niece, Natalee. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013, at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with a Sharing of Memories at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 120 Executive Park, Building 1, Asheville, NC 28801; or American Diabetes Association, NC Affiliate, 3109 Poplarwood Circle, Suite 125, Raleigh, NC 27604.
