Tim Robinson

Tim D. Robinson, age 52, of 116 Red Barn Rd., died Friday, May 24, 2013. Tim was born August 17, 1960, in Buncombe County where he had lived all of his life. He was an avid sports fan and played softball for many years. He was the son of Maurice and Judy Whitted Robinson of Weaverville. Surviving in addition to his parents are his sister, Christy Roberts and husband Kenny of Asheville; nephew, Kaleb Roberts; and niece, Kaley Roberts; and many loyal friends who stood by him through trying times. His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2013 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Rev. David Ingram officiating. Burial will be in Capps Family Cemetery on Herron Cove Rd. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at West Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at the home of Maurice and Judy Robinson, 248 Cocoa Lane, Weaverville.
