Timothy Arnold Dorsey

ASHEVILLE – Timothy Dorsey, 56, passed away on Saturday May 20, 2023 at Mission Hospital.

A native of Buncombe County, Tim was the son of the late Arnold Dorsey and Inez Thomas. He was also preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Tina and his step son, Matthew.

Tim is survived by his fiancée, Paula; his daughter, Krystal (Shannon); two grandchildren, Abby and Kie; three brothers, Allen (Polly), Ronnie (Cathy) and Mike; a sister, Judy (Gary); and a niece, Jennifer (Keith).

A funeral service will be held at 2:30pm on Thursday, May 25 in the chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville. Rev. Ronald Dodson will officiate. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, 901 Aiken Road, Asheville. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 2:15pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
