Tom \ Fox

WOODFIN—Tom "Junior" Fox, age 65, of Woodfin died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011. Tom was born July 23, 1946 in Buncombe County to the late Thomas A. Fox and Lucy Sheppard Fox. He loved southern gospel music and collecting albums. He also enjoyed gardening and just being outside. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Trula Gunter Fox who died in 1994 and a brother, Rev. Dean Fox. Surviving are his daughters, Kim Fox Williams and husband Ted of Weaverville and Tina Fox Rice and husband Harry of Marshall; his sweetheart, Madeline; sister, Lula Hawkins; brothers, Troy, William, Wayne, Charles and Leroy Fox and grandchildren, Chris, Corey and Adam Williams. Tom's funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville with Rev. Doug Huffman officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Sheba Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
