Toni Elaine Patterson

TONI ELAINE PATTERSON ASHEVILLE – Toni Elaine Patterson, age 52, of Oakley went to her heavenly home on Saturday, March 5, 2016. Miss Patterson was born November 15, 1963 in Buncombe County where she had lived all of her life. She retired from Goodwill Industries after 29 years of service and was a member of Oakley United Methodist Church. Toni, with her sweet and humble spirit, and pureness of heart, touched many lives. She loved and accepted everyone as they were. Forever she will be in our hearts. Toni was a beloved daughter of the late Dr. Robert Gold and Barbara McGhee Patterson and was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert “Bob” Anderson. Surviving are her sister, Sue Ponder; sister-in-law, Cheryl Anderson; nieces, April Anderson Walter and husband Matthew, Tonia Ponder, Tami Hogan, and Kim Ponder; and grandnieces and nephews, Myles Lance, Chance Enneking, Sydney Hogan, and Emma Walter. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2016, in Fletcher First Baptist Church, 5 Cane Creek Road, Fletcher, with Pastor Roy Waldroup officiating. Burial will be in West Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Avenue, Weaverville. Flowers are welcome.
