Tuel Duco Singleton

ASHEVILLE—Tuel Duco Singleton, Jr., age 68, of Asheville, died Friday, November 2, 2012. Mr. Singleton was born April 1, 1944, in Buncombe County. He was preceded in death by his father, Tuel Duco Singleton Sr., and his wife, Judy Jones Singleton who died in 2009. Surviving are his mother, Ethel Haney Singleton of Asheville; son, Timothy D. Singleton and wife Stella of Leicester; daughter, Melissa Edwards and husband Tim of Weaverville; brother, Leo Singleton of Kannapolis; grandsons, Tadd and Brandon; great granddaughter, Brooklyn, and special friend, Geraldine. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday November 7, 2012 in the chapel of West Funeral Home, with Reverends Andrew Parker and Randy Gregg officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville.
