WEAVERVILLE—Virginia T. Hoyle of 59 Murphy Hill Road went to meet her Lord and her beloved husband James on January 17, 2013.
Mrs. Hoyle was born in Madison County and was a resident of Melbourne, Fla., from 1955 to 1975 when she moved to Weaverville. She retired from JC Penney after 18 years of service. She was a member of North Asheville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Ella Shelton Taffer; husband, James William Hoyle, Sr.; sisters, Georgia Banks, Evalee Honeycutt, Shirley Hastings, and Juanita Hensley; brothers, Willie James and Woodrow Taffer.
Surviving are her sons, James William Hoyle, Jr., and wife Judith of Palm Bay, Fla., and Danny Lee Hoyle of the home; grandchildren, Shane and Renee Hoyle, Dustin and Kim Hoyle and Tammy and Lance Tuttle; seven great grandchildren, Rylee, Carli Ann, Cole, Caden, Ashton, Rian Grace, and Braxtyn; niece, Brandy Davis Young; nephew, Blake Davis; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 20, 2013, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Rev. Jim Dykes and Rev. Chris Davis officiating. Burial will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
