WANDA BALLEW JORDAN WEAVERVILLE - Wanda Ballew Jordan, age 71, of 45 B Hillside St., died Wednesday, January 1, 2014. A daughter of the late Henry and Ollie Harwood Ballew, Mrs. Jordan was born June 27, 1942 in Buncombe County where she lived all of her life. She retired from Square D after 27 years. Wanda enjoyed ceramics, knitting, and other handy work. Surviving are her husband, Ervin Jordan of Weaverville; daughter, Krystal Owenby and husband Shane of Weaverville; son, Mark Jordan of Weaverville; sisters Evelyn Payne, Joyce Hensley, and Margaret Prewitt; brothers, Reid Ballew and Monroe Ballew and grandchildren, Brandon Jordan and Dorian Owenby.
