Zebulon Weaver Myers, Jr.

REEMS CREEK – Zebulon Weaver Myers, Jr., age 87, of Reems Creek passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Emerald Ridge Rehabilitation and Care Center.

Mr. Myers was born on August 24, 1937, in Buncombe County. He went to school to learn to cook and worked with a well-known chef for many years until his retirement. This work had him live and travel various places such as Virginia, New York, and Florida, before returning to the Beech community area. He was a member of Reems Creek – Beech Presbyterian Church where he was well loved.

Zebulon was the son of the late Zebulon Weaver Myers, Sr. and Mabel Hensley Myers. He is survived by his cousins, Nancy Myers Raby and Ronald Deitz; and special friend, Betty Stewart who helped care for him. The family would like to thank the staff at Emerald Ridge for the loving care they provided.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, February 13, 2025, in West Memorial Park with Rev. Rebecca Gurney officiating.
