Mildred Hollifield Williams

Mildred “Micki” Hollifield Williams, age 80, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, June 18, 2018. Those closest to Micki will always remember the gentle touch of her soft hands and her devotion to oatmeal crème pies and diet coke. Micki was quick-witted and had an amazing sense of humor. Above all, Micki will be remembered as a good Christian woman who so deeply loved her children. Micki was preceded in death by her mother; Alice Mae Hollifield; father, Joseph Hollifield; sister, Mary Jo Willis; brothers, JC and Jerry Hollifield and the father of her children, Paul Williams. She is survived by her children Bill Williams, Tony Williams, Susan Silvers and Sonja Bryant; sisters, Sue Martin and Norma Jean "Jeannie" Casey; brother, Danny Hollifield; 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. in West Funeral Home, Weaverville. Reverend Troy Rogers will officiate. Burial will follow in Long’s Chapel Cemetery, Weaverville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
