Jane Frances Hurrell

WEAVERVILLE – Jane Frances Hurrell, age 75, of Weaverville, died Tuesday, January 26,  2021.

Mrs. Hurrell was born December 27, 1945 in Yorkshire, England to the late Norman and Kathleen Hutchinson Rushworth.  She was a talented artist, and enjoyed decorative painting and knitting.  Jane was an avid dog lover; the Scottish Deerhounds were the breed that she had raised and showed the most.

Surviving is her life partner, Richard F. Kovacs of Weaverville; her daughter, Catherine Hurrell Wyatt and husband Anthony, and her grandson, Everett Wyatt all of Arden; and three siblings of the UK.

A sharing of memories will be held from 4:00p.m. – 6:00p.m.  Thursday, February 4, 2021 in West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville.

Per the NC Governor, masks are required.
