Steven Allen Allstaedt

ASHEVILLE – Steven Allen Allstaedt, age 70, of Asheville died on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at his home after a battle with multiple myeloma.

Steven was born May 23, 1952 in Santa Barbara, CA.  He was married to his wife, Teri Ann Thomas Allstaedt, for 24 years. Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent Anthony Allstaedt and Ernestina Jones Allstaedt; and brothers, Robert and Roy.

In addition to his wife, Steven is survived by his children, Loren, Elsa, Ingrid and Arie; grandchildren, Hartmann, Liesl and Olive; sister, Carol; and brother, Tony.

A funeral mass will be held for Steven at 4:00 p.m., Friday, July 29, 2022 at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 72 Culvern Street, Asheville.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 28, 2022, at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Avenue, Weaverville.  Burial will be 2:30 p.m., Saturday, July 30, 2022, at West Memorial Park, 40 Roberts Street, Weaverville.
